Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Xarothi Super Coach mobile application (the "App"), operated by Xarothi ("Xarothi", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What Xarothi Super Coach is

Xarothi Super Coach is a marketplace that connects parents and students ("Users") with independent tutors ("Tutors") for in-person home tuition. Xarothi facilitates discovery, booking, scheduling, and payment. Tutors are independent service providers; they are not employees or agents of Xarothi.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or 13+ using the App under the supervision of a parent or guardian. By using the App you confirm the information you provide is accurate.

3. Accounts

  • You log in using your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP).
  • You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device secure.
  • You may delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account). See how to delete your account.

4. Bookings, trials, and payments

  • The first 3 sessions with each Tutor are offered free of charge as a trial.
  • After the trial, sessions are paid, booked individually or via a plan (per session, weekly, or monthly). There is no registration fee.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. By paying, you also agree to Razorpay's applicable terms.
  • Xarothi charges a commission on completed paid sessions (taken from the Tutor side).
  • Prices are shown in the App before you confirm a booking.

5. Refunds and cancellations

  • You may cancel a session as described in the App. Where a payment was made and a session is validly cancelled or not delivered, a refund may be issued to the original payment method.
  • If an amount was deducted but a booking did not complete, use Orders → Report deducted amount in the App, and we will investigate and resolve it.

6. Conduct

You agree not to misuse the App, including: providing false information; harassing or endangering Tutors or Users; attempting to take bookings or payments off-platform to avoid fees; or using the App for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Safety and verification

We take reasonable steps to verify Tutors (including police and degree verification) and may require identity (KYC) verification from Users for certain bookings. However, you are responsible for your own judgment and safety when arranging in-person tuition.

8. Content and reviews

You may submit reviews and ratings. You are responsible for the content you post and grant Xarothi a licence to display it in connection with the service. We may remove content that is abusive, false, or violates these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is." Xarothi is a facilitator and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or quality of teaching of independent Tutors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated here.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xarothi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid through the App in the 3 months before the claim.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes take effect when we post the updated Terms (shown by the "Last updated" date) and, where appropriate, notify you in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of Guwahati, Assam, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
